Bonfires grew into a coherent unit about three years ago when Sean Doyle (Vocals, Guitar, Keys) and James McGovern (Drums) joined up with Matt Bean (Bass, Vocals). They found a shared love of math rock and post-hardcore, with heavy doses of pop and psychedelic rock. The result is a guitar-driven, aggressively melodic, percussive sound that pulsates with rhythm and harmony.
